Ali Shan

Ali Shan sits at around 1,400 metres in central Taiwan, where cool mists, volcanic soil, and dramatic temperature swings between day and night create ideal conditions for slow-growing oolong. The leaves are lightly oxidised and rolled into tight dark balls that unfurl slowly during brewing, releasing a succession of flavours - first the unmistakable high mountain creaminess, then green floral notes, and finally a long, smooth finish with a natural honeyed sweetness. A benchmark Taiwan oolong from one of the island's most celebrated growing regions.
