These Terms & Conditions explain how our website works, how you can purchase products from us, and what you can expect from us in return. They are designed to be clear, fair and transparent, helping ensure every experience with Canton is straightforward from the moment you place an order.

2. Placing an Order

When you place an order through our website, you’ll receive an email confirming we’ve received it.

This confirmation does not mean your order has been accepted.

Acceptance takes place when your order has been packed and dispatched. At this point, a contract is formed between you and Canton Tea Company Limited.

Occasionally we may need to refuse or cancel an order. This may happen if:

• A product is unavailable.

• There has been an obvious pricing error.

• Payment cannot be authorised.

• We reasonably believe an order is fraudulent.

If this happens, we’ll contact you as soon as possible and issue a full refund where appropriate.

3. Product Availability

We work with seasonal harvests and carefully sourced ingredients.

While we do our best to keep products available, availability may change without notice.

If an item you’ve ordered becomes unavailable before dispatch, we’ll contact you to offer:

• a suitable alternative

• a delayed shipment

• or a full refund.

4. Product Information

We take great care to describe our products accurately.

Because tea is an agricultural product, natural variation should be expected.

Harvests change.

Seasons change.

Flavours evolve.

Images are provided for illustration and may vary slightly from the product you receive.

Weights, brewing guidance and tasting notes are intended as guidance only.

5. Pricing

All prices displayed on our website are shown in Pounds Sterling (£).

Prices include VAT where applicable unless stated otherwise.

We reserve the right to change prices at any time, although any confirmed order will always be charged at the price shown during checkout.

Despite our best efforts, pricing errors occasionally occur.

Where an obvious error has occurred, we reserve the right to cancel the order before dispatch and issue a full refund.

6. Payment

Payment is taken securely during checkout.

We accept the payment methods displayed on our website.

Orders will only be dispatched once payment has been successfully authorised.

7. Delivery

We currently deliver within the United Kingdom.

Our standard delivery service is Royal Mail Tracked 48.

Additional delivery options, including Next Day and DPD services, may be available during checkout.

Estimated delivery times are provided as guidance only and are not guaranteed.

Ownership of products transfers to you once your order has been delivered.

Risk passes upon delivery.

8. Tracking

Once your order has been dispatched, we’ll send you an email containing your tracking information where available.

If your parcel appears delayed, please contact us and we’ll be happy to help.

9. Cancelling or Amending Orders

If you’d like to amend or cancel an order, please contact us as soon as possible at:

hello@cantontea.com

We’ll always do our best to help.

However, once an order has entered packing or has been dispatched, changes may no longer be possible.

10. Returns & Refunds

We want every experience with Canton to leave you wanting to come back.

If something isn’t right, we’d love the opportunity to put it right.

If you’ve changed your mind, you have the right to cancel your order within 14 days of receiving it in accordance with the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013.

Products must be returned unopened, unused and in their original condition unless faulty.

Once received, we’ll issue your refund using your original payment method.

Return postage for unwanted items is the responsibility of the customer unless the item is faulty or supplied incorrectly.

Nothing in these Terms affects your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.

If your order arrives damaged or incorrect, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery.
