Our Sustainability Statement

Better tea depends on a better future.

Good tea depends on healthy ecosystems, skilled growers and long-term thinking.

Without them, there is no future for tea.

We work with producers who care deeply for the land they cultivate, invest in the people around them and take pride in their craft. Many of these relationships have been built over years, and in some cases decades, creating partnerships founded on trust, shared values and a commitment to continuous improvement.

We know sustainability is not a claim.

It is a practice.

One shaped by thousands of small decisions made over time. How tea is grown. How relationships are built. How products are designed. How resources are used. How businesses choose to improve.

We do not believe there is a finish line.

There is always another question to ask.

Another process to refine.

Another opportunity to do better.

As our business grows, so does our responsibility.

That means continuing to strengthen our supply chain, reducing our environmental impact where we can, making thoughtful choices about packaging, investing in long-term partnerships and holding ourselves accountable for the decisions we make.

We don’t claim to have all the answers.

We believe honesty is more valuable than perfection, and progress matters more than promises.

We do not see sustainability as a destination.

We see it as a responsibility.

One that requires curiosity, accountability and a willingness to keep improving.

A Process in Progress

Our approach to sustainability continues to evolve.

We’re currently reviewing every part of our business, from sourcing and packaging to operations and governance, as we work towards recognised best practices and meaningful long-term improvements.

This is not a project with an end date.

It’s a commitment that will continue to shape every decision we make as Canton grows.
