Honey Orchid

Named for its extraordinary natural fragrance, Honey Orchid, Mi Lan Xiang, is a single-cultivar Dan Cong oolong from the Phoenix Mountains of Guangdong province. Grown at altitude on old-bush trees, the leaves are medium-oxidised and individually processed to preserve the character of the cultivar. The result is unmistakably floral, orchid-like and honeyed, with a stone-fruit mid-palate and a clean, persistent finish. No added flavouring of any kind: this is what the leaf produces naturally. One of the most complex and rewarding oolongs in the Canton range.
