The mix of ingredients, including hibiscus flower, apple and aronia berry, offers vibrancy of flavour and releases a stunning vivid scarlet colour when brewed. This infusion has a full-bodied juicy quality, thanks to the selection of high-quality ingredients that release a satisfying depth of flavour. The hibiscus flower, sourced from a co-operative in Burkina Faso, not only offers a bright, slightly tart, cranberry note, but gives the brewed infusion a gorgeous red colour. Apple and elderflower bring a sense of summer and make a lovely base flavour for the berries to shine. Aronia berry, elderberry and rosehip give even more fruit depth. The liquorice root adds a soft, subtle sweetness to the whole experience and a smooth mouthfeel. This blend is boosted with fruit flavours extracted from blueberry, strawberry and blackcurrant. These are flavours extracted from the actual fruits – which is more unusual than you might imagine. It means they are the natural flavours from those fruits, rather than the artificial ‘natural’ flavours that bear no relation to those fruits.
