flavour

Green Tea Season is a blend of small production batches, produced between May and June of 2022. The leaves are wok-fired and processed with small scale orthodox machinery to extract their beautifully delicate flavour. Look for notes of sweet green bean and gentle tones of aniseed.

 origin

Located near Soerendonk in the Dutch province of North Brabant, Het Zuyderblad is a fruit and vegetable farm – and the first commercial tea plantation in The Netherlands. Alongside asparagus and strawberries, several thousand tea plants are cultivated across three tea gardens. The leaves from these young bushes are then processed in-house using artisan techniques and methods.
