step 1:  leaves

For one cup, measure out 3 grams into your teapot or brew mug.

 

step 2: water

Heat 250ml of water to 95°C.

 

step 3: time

Pour your heated water over the leaves and steep for 3 minutes.

Located in the Thabeikkyin District of Mandalay Region of Myanmar, Mogok is located 200 kilometres north of Mandalay and 148 kilometres north-east of Shwebo.

Against a backdrop of ongoing civil war, Mogok Tea Company provides an alternative livelihood to the dangerous and environmentally destructive industry of gem mining in the area. The company offers exemplary working conditions and employee benefits for Myanmar – including weekends and paid holiday and medical bills. It’s also helping to build much-needed infrastructure in the area, such as recycling facilities.
