canton dragon well
Chun’an County, Zhejiang Province, from farmer Weng Xiajiao.
One of China's most famous and sought after green teas, these tender young leaves are picked from wild tea bushes that thrive in the cool, mountain air. The leaves are hand pressed in a hot wok by the tea master, giving them their characteristic flat, sword-like shape and a distinctive green bean, nutty flavour. Spectacular terroir and skilled craftsmanship combine in this outstanding green tea.
Ingredients: Green tea
This variant is currently sold out.
Brewed correctly a good green tea should be fresh and smooth with no hint of bitterness. This one is exactly that, with a hint of roasted chestnut and the freshness of just-picked green runner bean.
For the ideal cup of Canton Dragon Well, steep 4g of loose leaf in 250ml of 70°C water for three minutes.
